It’s September! We had an event at Ohnishi farm and picked giant grapes which Ohnishi san and his wife took care very much and used only small amount of chemicals which is very rare. The grapes were delicious!
<Our guests of this month>
We had Y-kun who lived in the next village 10 years ago. This time he came alone and wanted to spend time in the place where he grew up in his childhood.
At that time, he was a small boy younger than Saku’s age but now he grown up and a great young man. Y-kun, please come back anytime!
We enjoyed having guests from Canada, France, Germany, US, India and Japan.
<Yummy! of this month>
A boy who stayed with us got a lot of small shrimps from the pond nearby. We tasted and suprisingly they were so good!!!
I can’t help but making the rice cooked with chestnuts even it’s a lot of work!
Because the chesnuts are keep falling in my yard and they taste so good.
We visited a Michi-no-eki Nagomi where you can catch Ayu fish by hand and make it grill. Saku caught some and Aito loved it.
<The other memories>
Saku had his first sports day, Undoukai in his elementary school.
Since the school is so small, the people in our region joined so did I. I think I tried my best in relay race.
In Shakuohji temple in Ayabe, we can make insence enjoying the atmosphere of the temple.
In Kyotango, there is a Thai restaurant only opens from May to Sep called Shohtenkyo Sala.
We went there with Take-chan who lives in our shared house.
Looking sunset view of ocean and enjoy the great Thai food, such a great moment!
The food is cooked by Thai chef and every food is so tasty.
Now he is an elementary school kid and need a ticket to take a train. It was his first time!
Recently Aito learned Selfie!
